By accessing or using Plasma Cut Forge, you agree to these Terms of Use. Stop using the website if you do not agree. The Website Disclaimer and Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Terms.
2. Permitted use
You may use the website for lawful personal, educational, workshop, and business-reference purposes. You remain responsible for independently evaluating technical information and complying with laws, standards, manufacturer requirements, and workplace procedures applicable to you.
3. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- use the website to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy, or safety requirements;
- submit spam, malware, deceptive content, impersonation, harassment, threats, or illegal material;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, databases, administration tools, or other users’ information;
- interfere with website operation, security controls, rate limits, or moderation systems;
- automatically extract or republish substantial portions of the website in a way that substitutes for the original service; or
- misrepresent calculator results or site content as certified factory settings, engineering approval, or a safety guarantee.
4. Accounts and Community participation
You are responsible for your account, sign-in links, and activity. Community content must remain relevant, lawful, respectful, and safe. Content may be edited, hidden, rejected, or removed for moderation, security, legal, quality, or operational reasons.
5. User submissions
You retain ownership of original content you submit. By intentionally submitting content for public display—such as a question, answer, or comment—you grant Plasma Cut Forge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, moderate, and display that content as needed to operate and promote the website.
Private submissions, including Contact messages and machine-profile requests, are not licensed for public display merely because they were submitted. Information from a request may be used to research a machine profile, but private contact information will not be displayed as part of that profile.
You must have the right to submit the content and must not include confidential, infringing, deceptive, or unlawfully obtained material.
6. Website content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise identified, the Plasma Cut Forge name, branding, original page design, calculators, written guides, graphics, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership is transferred by allowing access to the website.
Manufacturer names, product names, trademarks, documentation, and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to them does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
7. Availability and changes
Features, machine profiles, calculation methods, articles, Community functions, and access may be changed, suspended, corrected, or removed without notice. No promise is made that the website will always be available or that older results will remain unchanged.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Use of technical content is subject to the Website Disclaimer. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided without warranties and use is at your own risk. Rights that cannot legally be waived or excluded remain unaffected.
9. External services
GitHub, Supabase, Google, Ko-fi, manufacturers, retailers, and other external services operate under their own terms and policies. Plasma Cut Forge is not responsible for those services.
10. Termination or restriction
Access or participation may be restricted when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, maintain security, prevent abuse, comply with law, or preserve website operation.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the website changes. Continued use after revised Terms are published constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
